Sunday, April 29, 2012: Brother Jack Lassiter has been in the hospital in Greenville, South Carolina, for almost two weeks. His carbon dioxide level was into the 90's. The doctors said if he was to survive they had to put in a trach. He had surgery to install the trach last Sunday. He was moved from ICU to a step down room this past Friday night.
The doctor said once they put him on a ventilator, he might never be able to come off of it. Well, once they took the ventilator off for the first time, THEY NEVER HAD TO PUT IT BACK ON;A miracle from the Lord! PRAISE OUR PRECIOUS LORD JESUS! His oxygen has been reduced to 30% and he has been allowed a few ice chips.
The area around the trach is not healing as fast as they would like and we are asking everyone to pray especially for this. Please pray in your church services, prayer chains, prayer groups and your own prayer times. We do not know exactly when he will be able to return to the road. However, we are leaving the following schedule online because all things are possible with the God of Heaven whom we serve. Thanks so much.
